Efatha Bank in Tanzania has gone live on the Rubikon Banking System! The bank chose Rubikon in June 2009, following a rigorous selection process. One of the bank's key objectives was to complete the project in 2 months in order to start taking advantage of the benefits of Rubikon. Neptune's project team led by Priscillah Kivihya arrived onsite on the 13th of July and working intensively with a committed team from the bank's side, they completed the project on the 17th of August, a record 5 weeks and 3 weeks earlier than the bank had hoped for. Efatha Bank's operations in Dar es Salaam are off to a great start and with confidence bolstered, the bank intends to expedite the extension of its branch network across the entire country.

The bank went live with the Rubikon system on 17th August, 2009 with very high joy and excitement given the good and timely implementation program experienced.” He is optimistic that the implementation of the Rubikon Banking System will lead to the following benefits for Efatha Bank, Tanzania, among others:
::Branch Expansion; the bank is planning to open more branches in each of the next years until the branch network covers the whole country and Rubikon will provide a solid foundation for the expansion with branches networked on a single back office system.
::New Products; as the bank grows there will be a need for new products geared towards meeting customers' changing needs; we wish the delivery of all new products to be as automated as possible and for this, a robust and tested system is required.
