New extended management team set to drive Neptune Software forward
Neptune Software plc, a leading provider of banking systems, announced today the appointment
of three new executive management members to strengthen the position of the company and
accelerate its development. Jessica Petersson has joined as HR manager, Ravi Balani, as Finance
Manager and Walter Cools as Product Manager, Trade Services.
The new appointments are in line with the company’s long term strategy. The extended
management team has the operational strength and the international perspective to improve the
business significantly and move the company forward.

Walter Cools, product manager trade services
Walter is a senior corporate banker with a successful track record of over 20 years in international
banking and global trade services. Whilst working for a Swiss commodity trader, he also
experienced the client side of the trade business. All this is complemented by nearly 10 years of
functional consultancy, analysis and pre-sales support for trade finance and payment projects in
the financial sector.
Ravi Balani, finance manager
Ravi Balani brings more than 17 years of experience in all aspects of accounting and financial
management across varied industry sectors. Ravi leads and delivers rapid strategic business and
finance development and has successfully transferred blue chip financial management experience
across in B2B and B2C markets in start-up, turnaround and growth companies. Prior to Neptune,
Ravi has worked with Bear Stearns, Corporate Foreign Exchange PLC and Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank
Ltd. Ravi is a qualified Certified Accountant and holds an MBA in General Management from
Middlesex University Business School, UK.
Jessica Petersson, HR manager
Jessica holds a postgraduate international legal degree, New Zealand, Masters in International Law
and Politics, USA and a LLB Law degree in English and German Law, UK. She gained her HR
experience working for law departments and university directorships, law firms and litigation
support firms internationally. Jessica was also a world class international endurance athlete
selected to represent her country in the Marathon, duathlon and triathlon. She looks forward to
bringing her experience and competitive drive to Neptune's HR.
